The Washington International Education Council (WIEC)
recognizes the vital role international education exchange
plays in the world today. As our world grows smaller with
greater interdependence it is more important than ever to
establish linkages between people of different countries,
regardless of cultural differences. WIEC builds new bridges
and fosters existing relationships between institutions
throughout the world.

Our activities include the organization of educational
conferences, publishing information on international education
programs, the counseling and placement of students in US
higher education and the design and development of new
programs. The Washington International Education Council, led
and staffed by experienced educators, is dedicated to helping
international students reach the highest levels of academic
excellence.
